Matthew Arentz, MD, MPH, is Director of Precision Health at the Novartis Foundation, where he leads initiatives that leverage AI, predictive analytics, digital technologies, and population health modeling to improve cardiovascular disease outcomes at scale. He currently leads the Novartis Foundation support for the CARDIO4Cities programs in Singapore and Brunei and supports the Foundation’s work globally on precision population health, digital innovation, and translating emerging technologies into measurable impact across cities and health systems.
A physician-scientist with experience spanning pulmonary and critical care medicine, infectious diseases, global health, and data science, Dr. Arentz has worked at the intersection of medicine, technology, and public health throughout his career. His work focuses on using data-driven approaches to improve health outcomes and ensure that advances in healthcare innovation benefit entire populations.
