Ms Wong Cher Yi

Ms Wong Cher Yi joined the National University Heart Centre Singapore Clinical Trial Unit (NUHCS CTU) in 2016 and is currently Director of CTU and Senior Clinical Research Coordinator.

Her career has been shaped by years of working alongside experienced investigators, managers, and clinical research leaders, from whom she continues to learn. With a background rooted in hands-on trial coordination and ongoing leadership learning, Ms Wong supports the management and development of the CTU, overseeing study workflows, start-up activities, and the execution of industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

Ms Wong also serves as an educator under the Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI), where she contributes to training and development of clinical research professionals. She is passionate about talent development through mentorship, structured learning, and fostering a supportive team culture. She hopes to contribute to building and sustaining a high-performing clinical research workforce where CRCs feel supported to develop confidence and capability over time.
