Dr Kelsi Smith

Dr Kelsi A. Smith partners with leading pharmaceutical companies worldwide on the use of Nordic Registers and other high quality real-world data, generating RWE across therapeutic areas. As a Senior Project Leader at Quantify Research in the Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Analytics Unit, she has a central role in shaping and delivering innovative, regulatory-grade RWE studies. She specialises in advising and conducting integrated RWE strategies in pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and market access functions.

Dr Smith’s scientific foundation is in epidemiology, molecular biology, and genetics which allows for both methodological rigour and insight into evidence generation planning. Her enthusiasm for RWE started a decade ago when she moved from Canada to Sweden to access the Nordic Registers, initially working in neuroscience in multiple sclerosis research before expanding across therapeutic areas. She is deeply driven to advance patient-centred evidence strategies to support regulatory and commercial decisions, while also improving outcomes for people living with disease.
