Prof Cheung Yin Bun

Prof Cheung is currently a Professor at the Centre for Biomedical Science, Duke-NUS Medical School. He has a broad interest in the studies of global child health, statistical methodology, and quality of life in the palliative care setting.

Prof Cheung has been the Principal Investigator (PI) of multiple research grants on study designs and statistical analysis methodology to improve clinical and population health studies of vaccines and infectious diseases, and on the quality of life of patients with life-limiting illnesses and their caregivers.

Prof Cheung and his team have been investigating innovative, efficient, and robust approaches to study designs and their associated analytic methods, covering individual and cluster randomized trials, case-control and case-only studies, and real-world evidence research. These developments have been motivated by and applied to studies of global child health, vaccines, and palliative care.
