Ms Chai is a Health Economist with close to a decade of experience in economic modelling, health technology assessment, and health services research. Her work focuses on economic evaluation, the use of real-world evidence, and methodological development.
In her current role at Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI), she supports economic analyses in a number of disease areas, such as precision medicine, mental health, and cardiovascular diseases. As a staff member of Cochrane Singapore, Ms. Jia Hui contributes to training in evidence synthesis. She is also actively involved in delivering education on economic evaluation methods to colleagues within her organisation as well as to professionals from other public health institutions.
Prior to joining SCRI, Ms. Chai was a Researcher at the Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research (HIPER) Center at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. During her time at HIPER, she gained extensive experience in teaching economic evaluation and related methodological topics, both locally and across the region.
